The inaugural festival of 2020 ran into an unexpected obstacle: a global pandemic! This has meant postponing the "physical" part of the festival until it is safe and focusing on the online side of it.

We were aware of filmmakers having fewer opportunities to showcase their work, as so many festivals were cancelled or postponed, so we thought we could help out!

​

The Quarantine Films section of the festival focuses on films made during, about, and despite the global lockdown in the first half of 2020. A separate part of the festival, this section features new films every week, culminating with an audience award at the end of the showcase. 

​

So if you are an audience member frustrated by the lack of films coming out this year - look no further! 

​

Our YouTube channel gets updated daily with new films - follow us and support the filmmakers and their work! We also do a weekly blog on each week's films, so check out our blog page as well.
